Hey! The weather's great, my classes are over in a few weeks, and I am enjoying my stay: life can't be better. Last week I went skydiving, which was pretty cool. I am also doing trips in the area to see places. In a month from now I start traveling around the country!

The weather's fine, I have sorted out my study programme and my first classes already started. I'm starting to realize that I am now a student, not a backpacker, but that's okay.

Last Saturday I arrived in Cape Town and I am now in Stellenbosch. At the moment there is an introduction for foreign students here. I am staying in a student house with 8 other students. The weather is not very nice at all, but apart from that life is good :-).

I got my plane ticket today. I am now flying on the 13th instead of the 12th, due to a mistake by the travel agency!

Everything's going well. I received an email today which said a room has been reserved for me in a student house. Next to that, I got the study grant I applied for!

The long-awaited confirmation letter from Stellenbosch arrived today. I went to the embassy straight away and applied for a Study Permit

I bought my ticket today. I am leaving from Amsterdam for Cape Town the night of july 13. My return flight from Cape Town departs on December 29.

[12-03-2001] Woohoo! Today I received a confirmation letter for my stay in South Africa, which means I am really going there! (It also means there's all kind of stuff to fill in, send, prepare, etc.)
